ABOUT ME

I am

Anna

@veg.corner

A curious soul who found her way back to herself through plants, ceremony, and the quiet wisdom of her own body.

What started as a love of food became a healing journey I never planned — and everything I now teach was born from living it first.

MY STORY

It started with a few vegetables.

I wasn't always this person. Ten years ago I started simply — cutting out meat, moving toward vegetables, feeling something shift. Travel had cracked me open: new places, new ways of eating, new ideas about what life could look and feel like.

I became vegetarian first. But I didn't know anything about nutrition, and my body showed it — I lost weight, felt depleted, and had no real map for what my body actually needed. Going fully vegan a few years later changed that. I dove deep: into recipes, into ingredients, into the science of plant-based eating. I started cooking with genuine joy and sharing what I learned with anyone who would listen.

That is how @veg.corner was born — not from a brand strategy, but from a kitchen and a phone camera and the simple desire to show others that plants could be delicious, nourishing, and alive.

Then the body said enough.

I was thriving — or so I thought. But a few years into what looked like a healthy life, things began to fall apart in ways I couldn't explain. Work had become a slow burn of exhaustion. Relationships were taking more than they were giving. And my body, patient as it had been, began to speak in the only language it had left.

Hormonal acne

The tests came back clear. Nothing irregular, the doctors said. Which was perhaps the most disorienting thing of all — to feel so unwell and be told, officially, that nothing was wrong.

"I was nutritionally well-fed and completely disconnected from myself at the same time. I had learned to feed my body but not to listen to it."

The healing no one prescribed.

Without a diagnosis to treat, I had no choice but to go inward. What started as a reluctant self-inquiry became, slowly, a different kind of education.

I began to slow down — genuinely, not just on weekends. I learned about the menstrual cycle as an actual biological compass, and started eating and living in rhythm with it. I set boundaries in relationships that had been quietly draining me for years. I found tantra yoga and discovered what it meant to be present in a body rather than just managing one. I sat in my first cacao ceremony and felt something I hadn't felt in a long time: like myself.

Listening to my body's signals
Living cyclically
Slowing down and choosing peace
Setting boundaries in relationships
Reconnecting with feminine energy
Plant medicine and herbalism

This process is still ongoing. I don't offer it to you as a completed story with a tidy ending. I offer it as a living practice — one I am still inside of, and one that has changed the texture of my life in ways I couldn't have predicted.

This is why I built Roots & Flow.

Because I spent years being nutritionally educated and still completely lost in my own body. Because I know what it feels like to have blood tests come back normal while your skin is breaking out, your cycle is erratic, and your nervous system is quietly on fire.

I built this programme for the woman I used to be — the one who was eating well by every external measure but hadn't yet learned to live in rhythm. Everything in Roots & Flow comes directly from my own path: the cycle syncing, the plant nourishment, the tantra practices, the herbal medicine, the ceremony.

Not as a system I read about. As a life I lived my way into.

Everything I learned,
built into 8 weeks
for you.

Roots & Flow is the program I wish had existed when I was standing in the middle of my own unravelling — exhausted, inflamed, and being told by medicine that nothing was wrong.

It combines everything I have studied and lived: vegan nutrition, cycle syncing, tantra philosophy, herbalism, and the kind of grounding that happens when women slow down and gather together.

01. Born from lived experience

Every session, workbook, and ritual comes from something I've personally practiced and healed through.

02. Science and soul, together

Vegan nutrition certification meets tantra yoga teaching meets cacao ceremony. No either/or.

03. A process, not a prescription

I'm not going to tell you what's wrong with you. I'm going to help you hear what your body is already saying.

04. Still ongoing, still honest

I teach this as someone still inside the practice, not someone who has arrived. That is the only way I know how.
